What is the master source of the address?

Answer

The NZ MasterMap, CoreLogic’s definitive and trusted New Zealand ‘real world’ or physical address data, is the primary dataset that the autocompleter (search suggest) and address resources consume. The NZ MasterMap dataset incorporates our National Address File (NAF) of official addresses. This wholly CoreLogic owned dataset contains over 2.1 million verified, physical addresses with new addresses added daily.

Why are there multiple unique identifiers?

Answer

This API uses multiple systems and location information, which use multiple identifiers, so needs to provide all location identifiers that Chorus maintains for a specific location or address.
